I Think I Believe I am Jesus' little brain cell

About

Hey, I'm Arni Zachariassen and this is my blog. I'm a theology student, so the general orientation of "I Think I Believe" will be Christian and theological. Theologically I'm especially interested in the relationship between theology and science, both systematically and practically. Other than that, I'm theologically turned on by lots of stuff, so I write about lots of stuff. I have a keen interest in pop culture, especially of the Christian kind - with which I have a very confusing love/hate relationship. I'm a musician, so I write especially about the music in this regard.

Some basic info: I'm married to Malan and we have a daughter called Lý. I'm originally from the Faroe Islands, but live in Aberdeen, Scotland, where I study. I'm a minister's son and pastor's brother. I've played in bands. I love culture, especially music and film. I have a beard. With a biologist friend of mine I run a little organisation called Dialogos that works to make the conversation between Christian belief and science better in the Faroe Islands.

  1. Hi Arni,
I just came across your website, looking for a picture that depicts justice and Christianity.
Your site is on the second page of Google images. Imagine that!
    I live in Toronto Canada.
I was looking for pictures to go with one of my songs.
I am a Christian song writer.
I loved the bottom part of your home page; the 10 don't commendments for Christian bands.
    Irene
